After being abandoned for nearly 20 years, the the station, located at the end of the downtown commercial district, was converted into an office retail complex. In order to make the project financially feasible, the transit shed was converted into occupied space by enclosing the underside of the roof in a glass enclosure while leaving the roof overhang and columns of the original transit shed exposed.
