The house was saved from the wrecking ball by Dorothy Rouse Bottom. All trim, windows flooring and radiators were repurchased from the demolition crew and the house was restored from the reacquired pieces.

Additions to the property included a glass enclosed Kitchen, a Spa accessed from a partially underground access and a later Guesthouse /Garage.
