ODU’s Oceanography and Physical Science Building contains four stories of laboratories with faculty offices, and classrooms providing a significant science core for the University’s campus master plan.  The unique two story oval shaped entry is juxtapose with the lab core and houses a large tiered meeting room and adjacent gathering space for students.  Generous corridor spaces are used for circulation and student study outside of the classrooms and labs.  A landscape earth berm feature creates a space for students to gather next to the building for casual outdoor events.
